At Better Health Counseling, we believe finding the right support should feel personal, welcoming, and easy. Founded by Lindsey Heselbarth, LPC-S, a therapist with more than 20 years of experience, Better Health Counseling began with a simple goal: to provide compassionate, high-quality mental health care while helping each person find a therapist who truly fits their needs.

Today, Better Health Counseling is a family-owned mental health counseling group practice serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families throughout Williamson County and across Texas. With convenient offices in Round Rock, Hutto, and Georgetown, as well as secure virtual therapy throughout Texas, our experienced team of therapists provides compassionate, personalized care for a wide range of concerns.

Our therapists specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, grief, relationship and family concerns, child and teen therapy, couples counseling, life transitions, stress management, and more. We offer a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, play therapy, CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and other individualized treatment approaches.

At Better Health Counseling, we believe therapy should be accessible, welcoming, and tailored to each person. When you call our office, you'll speak with Lindsey or Maggie—both experienced therapists who can listen to what you're looking for, answer your questions, and help you find a therapist who is a good match. We accept many major insurance plans and offer private-pay and sliding-fee options.
